MATERIALS: Deck of "Pattern Maker"
cards with the 40 numbers below

Powerful Patterns

SETUP: The cards are shuffled and each player is dealt 7 cards. The rest are placed face down in the center of the table, and one card is turned face up.

The object of the game is to form as many four number arithmetic sequences as possible. In each turn, draw one card from either the face-up or face-down pile. Then look in your hand to see if you can put down an arithmetic sequence of 4 cards. If you do so, then you may draw 4 more cards.

Lastly, you must discard one of the cards from your hand on the face-up pile. You may only play one sequence during your turn.
Play continues until all cards are drawn from the face-down pile
and everyone has one last turn to make any possible arithmetic sequences from their hand.

The winner is the player who has formed the most sequences.
